See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
The pub is on two levels: the bar on the upper level, the lounge downstairs to the right, with the dining area on a lower level at the back. Throughout there is a modern feel with much of the furniture in leather matched to the light wood tables. The emphasis is clearly on diners who drink. The bar staff are attentive but may be called upon to make up diner's drink orders so service at the bar may be compromised during busy periods. A second hand pump is available to dispense a locale ale (currently under review) and a third hand pump is available to serve another guest ale if there is a demand. Live music is played last Thursday of the month. Wine is competitively priced from £14.45 a bottle. Monday - Friday special from 12 - 7, dine with wine/IPA (2 courses) £11.50.
