This pub re-opened in August 2024 under new management following a significant refurbishment. The new landlords have turned the pub into a family, dog friendly, community pub with lots of plans for future developments. In the short time it has been open locals have started to return and a local art club meets there on Thursday evening. The pub has also formed a darts team. The landlady, Claire, is keen on live music and wants to host other events.
