See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Built in the Tudor era, this charming Wetherspoon pub stands out in a 1960s new town. A 10-minute walk from Bracknell rail and bus station, its two bars offer up to eight real ales (five in the main bar and three in the 'bottom' bar). The guest beers are frequently locally sourced e.g. from Loddon and Windsor & Eton breweries, complimented with beers from around the UK. Themed food days feature during the week with steak on Tuesdays and curry on Thursdays being very popular. In addition a wide-ranging menu of good value food is served until 11pm. Terraces with benches (some covered) are situated to the front and rear of the pub which also act as the outside smoking areas. An Astro turf garden with benches is also situated behind the 'bottom' bar. Very much a young persons pub Friday and Saturday nights.

This pub has featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for many years.

This building has listed status with Historic England. The List Entry Number is 1390339.
